How Do I care for my Denim item?

Treat your hand-painted denim items like you would a leather jacket or a fur. Please do not wash your jacket or bottoms in a washing machine. The best way to ensure that your denim stays beautiful and clean is to treat it like the valuable item that it is.

• Keep your denim dry. Avoid wearing your denim jacket in rainy weather. If it does get wet, make sure that you hang it out to dry immediately before putting it away.

• Hang your denim. Never leave your jacket folded for a long period of time, as this can encourage creases and cracks in the painted portion. Instead, hang jackets and clip bottoms to a hanger — never in the sunlight, as that can quickly discolor it.

• Keep your items away from heat. Heat will dry out and cause the painted portion to become brittle and crack. Never lay your painted denim on or near a radiator or heating vent, and never iron or steam.

• Sun and Air: Hang your garment outside in in-direct sunlight or shade for a few hours. This will freshen it up.

  Spot Clean: Using a damp cloth and mild soap to get stains out.

• For Smells: Use one of the many denim refresh sprays available on the market.
